Not a fan of Bambu doing proprietary firmware but wow the hardware is nice

If they have enough units to send around to reviewers and they get the same quality and resulting reviews as from clough42 they should be able to take a bit of wind out of Bambu’s sails.

I’m seriously considering the x-max 3 to replace one of my existing printers. I’d lose 25mm each in X and Y though. I’ve rarely cared but a few times it has come in very handy…

I’d really like a printer with a good heated chamber. And this one looks like it’s standard enough that I could tinker with it…

They need to quickly get the firmware updates for MMU v2S and show reviewers how to use it.
Full kits are ~$140 or kits without 3D printed parts for ~$40.

Not that a multi material changer is for everyone but the Bambu makes the MMU also a dryer so just being able to select your color and it’s already dry and firmware does the unloading/loading is pretty nice.
