Quality  of the parts:

Quality of the parts: It has come to my attention that the parts in this kits are less than satisfactory to the point off disgrace. The company " heacent " selling there substandard parts on DX.com and Ali express have been less than supportive to the buyer. they have failed to replace the parts and after a month refused to engage and resolve the issue with the buyer . So on behalf of the buyer and for the love of the prusa I2 , I bring it to your attention in the hope that no one else will be is caught and disappointed with starting in this exciting hobby.

                             happy printing Jinx.

to the sin bin heacent.

see for yourself the quality off the parts…

Wow some of those are terrible…

Thanks for letting us know. Will avoid for future purchase.

On both sites you can open complains that the site will resolve with buyer and seller.

The printed parts don’t look very nice but fully functional.
What exactly didn’t work?

Marcus believe the buyer didn’t want to take such action but he being left few option.

The big question is can it be assembled well enough to print replacements ? I’m not so sure.

Oh I’ve assembled well working machines with parts that looked much worse.
(They didn’t need replacement ever during years of service.)
This isn’t the quality to expect nowadays, so a partial refund is in order, but at least the printed parts look like they’ll do their job.

looks like they could have used a higher quality print setting

at close too $600 US i wouldn’t expect to have reprinted parts not too mention the ball ache to strip it down replace the parts and redial the printer.

$600=400eur sounds like a reasonable price for this kit considering the significant effort of the 3d printing and shipping all that weight to the other side of the planet.

Just cant belive that anybody would actually sell printed parts in this kind of quality, regardless the price and all other factors.

“$600=400 eur sounds like a reasonable price”
all for nothing if part of the kit is off poor quality if the part breaks before it can be printed you left with nothing more than an over priced repstrap

Are your parts looking better if printing a while kit in time pressure with 3mm filament on a DIY machine?

@jinx_OI I didn’t read anything about parts breaking. They don’t look like they will either.

breaking " thats a what if situation, you lost me on the last post marcus what you mean

The parts don’t look like they will break.
They simply have a bad surface quality.
The only fragile part is one of the springs but that looks like it will still do it’s job nicely.

looking at the pics off the vertex feet alone looks like been attack by a rat, and I have concerns around what infill been used

This one?

looks stable enough to do it’s job.

if someone gonna sell parts then I expect no less http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8257/8617519960_7661b34eae_h.jpg than tht for quality “dare I use the word quality on my own prints!”.
