Those vises are cool. If you are into tool restoration I would recommend checking out “Hand Tool Rescue” as noted in the thingiverse link. I’ve been following him on YouTube for a long time.
I’d found that video some time back and was amazed at his work AND the vise. Both are amazing.
I would absolutely love to put a real machinists fractal vice on the mill, though infrequently.
I would absolutely hate to pay for one.
But a 3d printed fractal vice might be helpful for cleaning up 3D prints, or holding odd-shaped items for laser engraving.
