What gives you more adhesion on abs?
Use a PEI sheet on the build platform. Will stick to sheet once it’s heated up and no need for any adhesives or kepton tape.
3DLac (essentially hairspray) works really well for me on IKEA mirror tiles.
ABS slurry
Permanent printing plate Filaprint is very good
Someone I know likes elmers(if your in the uk its also known as pritt stick) glue stick on glass,(with a hot bed.)He just heats up the bed, rubs a layer of glue on, then prints, the prints pop right off when the bed cools, but stay stuck while they are printing.
Glass build platforrn & super hold Hair Spray works for me with ABS
I print directly on 110 degree Celsius ALU
ABS slurry
+1 on Abs slurry
Aquanet…the extra hold stuff
ABS Slurry gives so much adhesion on warm glass that I have a tendency to damage the glass if I set the first layer height too low.
Hairspray works wonders on glass too. @Mike_Smith uses it with great success.
Aquanet my man.
@Branden_Coates finger prints
PEI on aluminum MK3. No additional adhesive.
PEI sheet has been pretty magical.
I am all out ideas.
The ABS acetone solution works wonders when i was trying to get my prints stuck onto my heated bed. But better be really careful of making/using the solution as the fumes can be harmful if inhaled in large quantities within a unventilated space.
Buildtak on all my printers I love it.
Buildtak works wonders for me too
