Why did i order so many???

Why did i order so many??? Lol

You’ll use them eventually  Or make the project open source and sell some…

Yeah as soon as i figure out why my arduino wont work to program them anymore lol

Because it is the same price as buying 10? Bulk discounts get me that way too…

What’s that???

Blank custom PCBs i ordered to use with this wonderful library lol

So you could share? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@Charity_Stolarz lol. Well i suppose i could sell the finished PCBs by themselves. All they are is an Attiny85 with built in electret microphone battery charger and voltage regulator with pins broken out for WS2812B LEDs and a pushbutton/sensor

@Cristian_Martinez what was your original plan?

Theyre meant for LED ties im gonna sell

@Jeremy_Spencer my next design will have all of the pins broken out if anyone needs to use them. I didnt break them out because it wasnt necesary for what i was working on at the time.

@Cristian_Martinez oh haha- they’ll be selling like hot cakes and you’ll need every last one I’m sure!

Maybe I’m not seeing the scale right, or perhaps you used large components, but … those are fairly large pieces for a tiny85 with regulator and charger. Not suggesting they are wrong, not at all. Just pointing out that there may be a way to make them even smaller (which could increase your yield for the same price as well.)

Of course, my comment is also based on what you are comfortable in using. I’ve been known to use the 4x4mm ATtiny95 package. And a 4x4 battery charger package as well. By hand. With a magnifying glass. In winter. With a bo- wait, no, wrong scenario.

@Ashley_M_Kirchner_No lol thanx for the comment. Yes it is a rather large PCB i would also like to state that it is my very first PCB design lol. At the time i was doing hand soldering until i met the wonders of using a glass top stove! Working on a new design using the Atmega32U4. Hoping to keep the board the same size.

You don’t want to see my first PCB design. Hell, I don’t want to see it anymore (but I kept it for posterity.)

Over time you’ll get the hang of making things smaller, and then you’ll start looking at smaller components, such as an 0402 resistor or capacitor, or even smaller at 0201. You’ll start looking at those MLF or QFN packages with 0.5mm pitch. Always fun to do those by hand.

Lol ive been looking at the QFN packages but im scared of all the bridges im gonna end up with lol

@Ashley_M_Kirchner_No would you mind looking over my schematic? If its not too much trouble

… of what? The world’s first human teleporter? The world’s first replicator?

Yeah… i should have been specific lol. My Atmega32U4-AU schematic
